108 threaded bolt hole

Bugger. Just got my 108's back from refurd and gone to put them back together and found one of the bolts won't torque up. I suspect the bolt hole is threaded as the bolt itself is fine. What are my options?

Will the hole rethread if I can get a tap or can I insert something to help achieve torque. To say I am annoyed is under statement!

Ps I will put up pictures as I think good job was done by my local wheel guys
 
Send it back mate

You could just tap the hole but surely the folks who did the refurb should sort.

Either way its not a major job and it also wont affect your tyre pressure so you could mount and sort later

Agreed......easy to do if you're a DIY'er.
Proper option is to get the hole welded up and re-drill and tap but more of a pain now they've been refurbed unless it's their c*ck up?

Might be worth pm'ing "mr wilks" as he's the 108 refurb expert. :)
 
Thanks for the replies guys. Unfortunately not the refurbers fault as I split the and took them back split. I must have done it while tightening it but didn't have problem with others to same torque. Still, looking on bright side another thing the learn and add another string to my bow!
