108 rim only finish prices?

I've bought some 108's which have the usual problems on the rears.

Been quoted £100+vat a pop for splitting and recutting, lacquer etc. thing is reading here looks like this lasts all of 5 minutes. I'm tempted to load the tyres on and run them as is...how often does this need doing? Will a constant retickle be required...look great but pita is going through my mind tbh...

£100 isn't too bad as I've been quoted much more.

They last much better than the original wheels.
 
This is why I binned my 108's.Too much aggro to keep looking nice, and a heap of cash to get refurbed.
 
Give Lepsons a call. They quote £95 + the dreaded VAT for split rims. You'll get them back like new though after they've had a full rework. They did a brilliant job of my Alpina's wheels

That's where my 108's will be going when they eventually get too bad. Heard nothing but good things about Lepsons. :thumbsup:
