Hi guys,

When in Bristol over the weekend someone decided to steal 10 of my split rim bolts

Looking around on eBay and have seen quite a few different options - can anyone let me know what size I need please?

Thanks!

Hi guys,

Put this is E85 problems but realised it may be better in here.......

Honestly cant believe some of the scum around that would actually do that! Bloody Ridiculous!

If I was you I'd try a few breakers there's plenty of BMW specialists so there will probably be a few out there that have an accident damaged Z with a bent wheel where they can just pull the bolts and sell you for cheaps.

Another option is you could take one out and go to a hardware merchant and pick up a full set so you have shiny new bolts across all four of your alloys

BBS wheel bolts are Titainium so you need the proper ones.. if 108's are BBS try these people

Also check that the bolts are actually missing as i have refurbed porsche bbs split rims in the past and the heads can snap off leaving the shanks in the wheels

have a look here, they look to me like the titainum ones

utter assholes to go to the bither of that.

The bolts are about £5 each from BBS so you would be better off buying a new second hand wheel and stripping the bolts off it.

I also wouldnt drive it with the bolts missing... last thing you want is the wheel coming apart.

maybe there is another Z nearby with your missing bolts?

Oh that's ridiculous, but then again they are hard to obtain and expensive. What scum to do it, and clearly planned as you need the right tool

The one's you need are 12 point star, chamfered edge with 24mm thread/shaft, total length inc head 31mm

For 10 I'd buy a scrap wheel or one in need of refurbishment and have the spares to keep or Ebay at £2 each.

Might be obvious but don't drive on the wheel at all. They are genuine split rims not cosmetic.

Pretty sure these are the right ones:

Only £25 for 10

speak to these

http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/locations/leeds/

they recently refurbed all mine with new bolts, but the head designs slightly different to old ones

there not cheap though, the bolts where special ordered from germany

He might have binned my old ones

Thanks guys - bought some from PWMotorsport for £25 and they've sorted me out with next day delivery too!

Still can't believe the audacity of some people.....that money could've made a nice accy on the footy tonight!

had some one once nick, 1 wheel bolt from each corner, who in there right mind does that, you do have to question some ppl`s thoughts at times

It's not sounding good - seems whilst trying to hack some of the bolts out they've shredded the threads......

Could be (an albeit expensive reason) for new alloys!
