Was in a dealer today, they've just taken in an 2.0i E85 with 192k miles on it! So most things are probably fine for a while yet :o

Sorry I can't be of any help on what to suggest service wise, probably copy the 50k, cambelt/chain replacement..... oh and definitely a good hoon :driving:

50k? Most chains have a 200,000 life expectancy......

i was not showing off my mileage :| ....i wanted to know if the car needs a schedule maintenance due soon. i dont have the book manual for the car.

Nothing special, just stick to normal maintenance of oil service, insp 1, oil, insp 2, oil and so on, brake fluid every 2 years.... let the car tell you when it needs done

Tough all things Beemers.

We sometimes take the piss out of chavs driving clapped out old beemers with dogy paint job, but top be honest these cars are so well made they just take the abuse on go on forever. And thats a good thing.

There was an 8 series for sale last year at a garage in Lancashire that had 400k on it! 4 litre lump too. Now that's a lot of petrol :) Looked after beemers are capab le of epic mileages.

My mates E36 M3 has c.136k on the clock and still sees the redline on a regular basis. Pulls like a train :)
