Seems the Ibiza 1.8t Curpa is still expensive (2k) over At your Side of the chanel, but the 2000-2002 model would be my choice, as the 1.8t can be chipped to 200bhp. And that At just 10... Kilo

I did look at the cupra on autotrader but couldn't find anything for less then 1k, always been a fan.

I've had my 206gti for years (2 ltr) After fitting a quick shift for the sloppy linkage to be shortened it hasn't missed a beat in 6 years , done 105 000 now and most of them were my the hooligan that was me of years gone by. Quick car, such a sleeper. Still love driving it!
Edit ... Point of the thread forgotten about , can get one for probably half of your 1k these days.

Just had a look 206gti for £450 winner had 104k on the clock!
Or a 205 cti I had a 1.4 xs for a first car I loved it legendary car

Yeah so pugs can be troublesome but that's part of the fun with French cars. They make um fun they make um cheap.
Chav chariots bla bla , lol. We're talking of sub 1k cars, quite interesting what you can get to be fair. Knocking around uni with my Chavtastic 206 was actually happy days, and decent for a rather grim time financially :grin: I can still have more fun on a bumpy country road in it now than I can the zed. and I'm not and never have been a chav ... :shock:
