10 speaker AUX Installation, turning into a pain

Right then, this is probably a daft question but is it possible to install a connects 2 AUX kit to a 10 speaker Z4 E85 ?

I did this on my previous 6 speaker one and it worked great, this time I have brought the same connects 2 kit (CTVBMX003) Iv'e got the head unit out and plugged the new harness in and disconnected the CD changer at the back in the boot. I've plugged my phone in and nothing no sound coming through.

Any help on this would be appreciated as I'm officially stuck.

absolutely we have!

Is it true aux, or is it aux via "CD Changer" replacement?
Do you have a coax connector from the changer to the amp?

More info required :)
 
I've got the standard business head unit, with no satnav. I've tried the connects2 kit that bypasses the CD changer no joy and I've tried one of those cables that plugs straight into the back of the head unit again no joy.
