Ok sorry, misleading title...

Bit of a rollercoaster week but proud dad day, my son turned 10 today, bit indulgent but there it is....

He loves going out in the M, says it growls...

Thats great John. - I remember when my lad was like that at 12.
...Now he''s 15 he wont be seen within 50 yards of me !

Happy Birthday !
My kids loved going out in the E30 at that age. They would sit in the back, roof down, windows down for maximum wind, then tell me to drive faster !

Great times John , i honestly think it was the time my 2 spent growing up with my car passion that gave both boy + girl their love of cars & driving :driving:
Need to arrange a midway meet over summer

Great photo John, what a great young man. "Oh" for an head of hair like that  :D
Which of the 2 does he prefer, I would have thought at his age maybe the e89 with more gadgets?

Great photo - one to treasure (for when he has his electric sports car that will have performance wwwaaaayyyy ahead of what we experience today - that's if he gets to drive it instead of using the self drive  )

Great pic.

I got my 328i Coupe when he was about 10. I think going to Le Mans in it sowed the seeds for his petrolheadiness. He now has a Golf GTI for the road and some sort of Megane for the track.

One day he can start taking me to Le Mans, but not just yet!

Lovely pic! He looks so excited!!!

Its what ownership is about! Shared experiences.

I loved being a kid surrounded with what I thought was amazing cars getting picked up from school and going for a blast.

Secured my love for cars and some amazing memories

Wow, that's definitely your "mini-me" there, John. Just a shame he inherited your good looks ;)
Enjoy the day mate, he'll hit the "Kevin" years soon

Great photo John.

He's a lucky lad - when I was that age my Dad had a Hillman Minx!

Mind you it was great when he picked me up from school on his motorbike. 8)

Happy birthday to the little fella John
They are special times to be cherished mate, they grow up way too quick :o

Great pic jon. and nickDE's pic reminds me of painful times squeezed onto back non-seat ledge of my mum's mgb roadster with brother and sister. yes, as i was the middle child i had to go in the middle. possibly the worst spot. i'm never having kids. :|
