Cheers beedub - after a year I think I've hidden under the radar of SWMBO for long enough. Tested the water with a private plate that was approved, so I reckon a gentle ramp up of 'attention' to the car (read : spend) might be on the cards if I'm very, very careful :wink:

OG - I'd love a third car now, but at the moment it would probably get left in the garage, defeating the point :lol:

I think so... Now you've got me worried. Definitely on stopping else it has a horrible death rattle... And I think all of the time on start up, because I leave it parked in gear most of the time. I was more talking about the noise on cold start - it's got such a noisy, properly mechanical chunter as it metaphorically rolls it's shoulders and stretches it's neck whilst warming itself up. Pisses the wife right off at 5.30 in the morning if I accidentally nudge the throttle in the process as the garage is right under our bedroom. Oops :D

No problem with 5.30 am as our garage is under my sons bedroom, not ours. :evil: :D :thumbsup:

Reliable & fun, it doesn't get any better than that!
Using it everyday gets the maximum value out of the car as well imho, I do like the M cars but have convinced myself to stay with my si as the price difference helps to pay off boring stuff like the mortgage :roll:

Just re read the bit about vibratech engine mounts....hmmm now let me think is that somewhere else I should be spending money .... Doh :D
 
Tempted was as far as I got, never did anything more about it. Was relieved you stepped in though bing as I wouldn't have been popular with mrs gannet :o :D
