A friend of mine is after advise on problems with his 1 series. Do any of you know some good sites/forums for the car?

I found these so far, but not sure how good they are (I wouldn't know - the zed is my first BMW):

babybmw and 1addicts are probably your best bets. I figure babybmw may be best as it is more based ont he european 1 and may have a bit more experience with issues. What issues does your friend have?

He's having problems starting the car. When he pushes the start button nothing happens - requires a push start.

He had it checked out at a garage who said it was related to the starter motor and did a fix. However, the problem hasn't gone - he has currently taken it back to the same garage for them to look at further.

That's the jist of the problem - not sure if I've remembered it exactly, but it's something along those lines.
