As well as running my own Z4MC, I also look after my girlfriend's 125i Coupe.
Currently the mileage stands at 25k miles, and it's just coming up two years old. It had an oil service at 18k miles back in January.
Basically I am confused by the new Condition Based Servicing (CBS) scheme that it uses which is different to the usual oil, inspection 1, oil, inspection 2 etc. It's telling me that it's shortly due a brake fluid change, which is fine as it's an every two year thing. And it's telling me that it doesn't need an oil service for another 13000 miles. Also fine. But bizarrely it's telling me that it needs a "Vehicle Service Check" in the next 6000 miles, or by July 2012. Since I only drive it at weekends I can't be certain if this 6000 mile figure is falling or not.
Can anybody help? I would expect that after an oil service at 18k miles I wouldn't need to take it to the dealer (except for brakes) for at least another 18k miles or two years.
