Long since grown out if this, I just don't see the point, its actually funnnier watching them disappear in smoke and then realising you weren't game for dangerous driving.

Yes it was slow but it cornered way better than the z4 does imo.

Must be something wrong with your Z4 then!

I have little choice now but to let them go in my 330i but when I used to have fairly quick cars I was always up for a little fun if the environment was ok but just happy now to take it easy & remember the good old days!

Partners sister was done by a 1.2 Corsa a few months back in her Megane. Her boyfriend gave her some stick so she did the Corsa at the next set of lights. Third set of lights the Corsa didn't stop, went shooting past followed by a flash flash of a red light camera. She felt bad as the lad in the Corsa looked about 15 so would be picking up his first points.

you need to use the pedal on the right not the middle one 330i's cant be that slow

Driving through Parisian tunnels on the way back from Spain i had some Polish blokes in an e46 320d pull alongside and hinting heavily at me to pump the gas "GOGOGOGO!"

I obliged, they caught up about 10 minutes later and were all very thankful/impressed. I get the impression there aren't many 'nice' cars in France.

I agree they aren't that slow but they aren't that fast either I cant believe it has 260bhp because it never feels that quick due to it having to carry over 1500kg around whereas my old 200sx was only running a light tune at 240bhp but it felt quick pretty much all of the time & only had 1200kg to contend with, I really like bmw`s & modern cars but you do pay a large penalty in weight.

My old V8 M3 was the same plenty of power on paper 420bhp but coupled to around 1600kg made a difference to the performance, I was happy in my old TVR though 420bhp dragging between 1100kg/1200kg now that did feel fast at all times, writing this post is making me want more power!! :lol:

Had a little corsa pull alongside me whilst I was in our galaxy. Stripped out, seat on the floor, full harness and cage!! This'll be interesting I thought. Just before the lights changed he hit the limiter and held it for a few seconds before taking off like a WRC focus. He must of had one heck of an engine under the bonnet worth 10x the value of the car
