08/Z4 M coupe disassembling the rear hatch

There is a lip in the metal surrounding the rear glass and the water seems to pool there, as result I have a small rust spot that goes right to the edge of where the glass starts.
So I will have to disassemble the hatch to repair the area, has anybody come across a diagram or procedure for disassembly?
There doesn't seem to be any obvious screws or anything, I don't want to damage the trim work.
Thanks,
Chris

I found the sections in TIS, https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e86-z4-m-3.2-cou/repair-manuals/51-body-equipment/51-49-tailgate-trim-panel/GEjrd2M and here, https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e86-z4-m-3.2-cou/repair-manuals/51-body-equipment/51-49-tailgate-trim-panel/GAcdOlq

Good to know you found it, but the links don't work for me - both say "this page is closed per demands of BMW AG". :(

So if you do yours I'm sure if you did a "How-To" post there will be some Coupe owners who'd find that useful.

And good luck.

Ah, well you have to register and sign into the secret club then all will be revealed.

Pulling off the rear trims can take a bit of force and in this cold weather the plastic may be more prone to snapping than usual. Learnt this the hard way on an old car.

I gently warmed up the plastics when I removed mine and got away without any damage. Who knows if it helped but I felt happier doing it this way!
