I Have a 2008 BMW Z4 3.0SI Coupe; manufactured 11/2007 with the N52 Engine; and what seems to be the ZF GS637BZ 6-spd Transmission (22 spline input shaft).
The crankshaft, has SIX bolts. (not eight).
The car's vin ends in: LV34724
I am in the process of removing the self-adjusting clutch and replacing the clutch and flywheel. I originally purchased a kit from UUC; however - the kit doesn't work - as it is for an 8 hole crankshaft.
So, I found a flywheel from JB Racing (part #520-200-240) - which works. My problem now; is finding a non-SAC Clutch and Pressure Plate - that will fit the size of the Six-Hole Flywheel.
Doing cross-references -- it seems that the 2006 330i with the N52 also has a six bolt crankshaft. Would a non-SAC Clutch/Pressure plate work for a 2006 330i N52 work? I believe they have the same transmissions (ZF GS637BZ).
Also -- has anyone else seen this before? Can anyone give me a better insight into this?
