Don't get this. Either someone really took offence by the facelift revisions or it was sitting around for several years before being registered.

Maybe someone re-gingered instead of de-gingered and fitted a 'retro look' front end? Bizarre.

Maybe not Geezah - in specs it states 231 bhp - that's 3.0i pre-facelift.

That's a long time to be un-registered.

Definitely think that's a pre-facelift - grey plastics round the gear lever & AC controls, no silver on the vents. That is very strange.

What a mishmash , , "white leather trim" its a pre facelift car about £4k too much minimum
Don't walk away if interested , RUN , run fast

Maybe a an imported foreign car? I think they are registered when they are put on the road over here & not when the car is manufactured :?
Regards

It would have to have come from only a handful of countries then, perhaps a returning ex-pat otherwise why would you do it ? And you'd expect that to be declared...

It can't be an import registered as new unless it's been unused and unregistered abroad, if it has been you need to prove the date of manufacture then an age related plate is issued.

It can only be registered as new if it's been stored unregistered and unused (in the UK or abroad) and only driven to deliver and is under 2 years old and is a current model. Looks like it was stood unused/unregistered in the UK or abroad for some time, odd. I've heard of this happening when cars are damaged in transit or get caught up in shipping, import or business disputes - or maybe it was a shrewd investment

It is not even a late model pre-facelift with the clear headlights.
