It can't be an import registered as new unless it's been unused and unregistered abroad, if it has been you need to prove the date of manufacture then an age related plate is issued.
It can only be registered as new if it's been stored unregistered and unused (in the UK or abroad) and only driven to deliver and is under 2 years old and is a current model. Looks like it was stood unused/unregistered in the UK or abroad for some time, odd. I've heard of this happening when cars are damaged in transit or get caught up in shipping, import or business disputes - or maybe it was a shrewd investment :wink:
