08 plate BMW z4 retrofit cruise control

Hi all , I have a z4 2.0 08 yr msport that I've bought the retrofit cruise control stalk and cable for. I am just stuck on the blue wire connection as every guide I have watched ha's a different plug under the ecu cover in the engine bay . could anybody point me in the right direction as I don't wanna splice into the wrong wire ?????

hI . I have narrowed it down to the number 4 pin on the black connector. if I am wrong and connect the blue wire could I fry the dme???

thx for the reply still no joy connected blue wire into pin number 04 under bonnet the brown to pin 27 and yellow to pin 31 behind light switch. any other help will be very grateful or diagrams

I mate, I did this a couple of week ago, there is actually a pink/white wire already in the pin you need to put the blue cable in.

Where are you based?
 
Pin 27 and 31 for the LCM is the same on all E85/6’s

Just the ECU that will be different.

Synthedup can you confirm which pin you connected to.

Not without going and looking.

Must be a 2.0 thing
