Hello,
I'm a BMW (and forumn) newbie - just made an offer on a 2007 Z4M Coupe - it is coming with the original Style 224 wheels. I have looked all over this forum and others regarding attractive wheel combinations and I've settled on either CSL (I believe Style 359M?) or Style 220M. No disrespect to the 224s but the others make the car look tough.
When I mentioned these to the BMW dealer he indicated "Only style 224 (the ones that are on the car now) and style 164 will fit on the Z4M. These two types of wheels are specially made for the Z4M. Other wheels don’t fit because of the Offset on the car and the ET size." Apparently they've got a list of OEM rims approved for the car.
My questions to you all are:
1) Is he right?
2) Are all the pictures I see of Z4Ms running CSL type wheels therefore replicas and or require modifications to get them to fit?
3) Is anyone running Style 220M on their Z4M?
I look forward to your answers, jokes, wisecracks, whatever! Thanks in advance.
