As a new owner, I'm still trying to get up to speed on the details and issues with various models. Mine is a 2007 3.0si Coupe, 6 speed with about 53K miles. I've owned it for about 2 months and 2K miles. I did new tires, front pads, battery and an oil change in the first week. Now settling into driving and I've noticed a hint of sluggishness at times under light to medium throttle/load. I've had an instance of rough and bouncing idle - maybe twice, but it really hasn't been a problem. The sluggishness feels like it's just a bit fuel starved or timing retarded. No misfiring. I've read about the VANOS issues, but haven't found much posted about it with the N52 motor.
Really would appreciate any leads/ideas on this.
Edited to add that the fuel economy is steady and solid at around 29 mpg in mixed/favoring highway driving.
Also hasn't thrown a CEL.
