06 footwell lights-

Hi all -while i was talking to the stealer about a wheel key i thought i would price up a set of footwell lights for mine(discussed on here a while ago)"i dont think we do them for your particular model sir" i was told "you must because i have the holes for them" i replied "I will have to contact BMW and get back to you" was the answer i got-not impressed :roll: -anyone see a pattern forming?
 
If you are refering to the lights in the kick panel mine has them fitted (06 Z4C) so should be available. If not available from the stealer why not try a breaker.
 
Would be pretty easy to retro fit.

Just need to splice into the wiring ( was an orange and brown wire on mine) and could even run an LED lighting board instead (which is what i have instead of the stock lights)


After i bought mine i though the passenger light was missing.. (had the light and bulb - just couldnt find the wiring) so ordered the socket for 99p and some generic wiring.. which i was going to wire to the working drivers side..... and in the process found the passenger wire tucked away! :headbang:
 
In my 04 - the fittings were there - the wires and the connectors - just not plugged in!
Thet cannot have dropped out - I suspect that they were never ever working from new.
 
I would just buy an LED panel and wire it in. cheap, easy and better then OEM - i have replaced all my bulbs with LED's anyways
