05 E85 P2185 code

05 Z4 3.0 with 40K miles. Service engine soon light just came on. OBDII reading a P2185 "Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 2 Circuit High" code.

Any thoughts on things to do before taking it in? I'd rather fix it myself if possible

Check the connector on the temp sensor that is in the lower radiator hose for corrosion and general condition. If it looks OK you can change the sensor as it is cheap and easy to change (no tools required).

Just got this same code this week. Is the best way to get to this from underneath? Looks a bit tight to reach down from the top without removing anything
