What wire near the amp should i splice the power wire for the dsp adapter so it shuts off and does not run down my batt.

This keeps coming up. I don't know of anyone who has found a switched power lead in the boot/trunk. The OEM audio devices back there get constant power and turn themselves on and sort-of-off based on a signal from the head unit.

If you do find one, let us know. There are a few here that would like to know.

This question was bothering me, so I attacked the problem from a different direction and found something!
It's in connector X14133 of the TCU (U400a, Telematic Control Unit, i.e mobile phone interface)

There's no pinout diagram, but it's pin 35, a violet/white 0.35mm^2 wire.
It's R powered, meaning it gets power along with the radio when the ignition switch is at position 1 or above.
The circuit is from Fuse 47 (7.5A) in the main block behind the glovebox.
It appears to apply to all E85/E86s with any kind of mobile connectivity, but there's a hundred different mobile options and I couldn't check them all. Apologies to anyone I have mislead in the past. (The main TCU diagram doesn't show this wire!)

I wound up wiring the power lead to the fuse box to #28 fuse (5 amp) it is for the winshield wipers so it doesnt run down my battery and I didnt wont to splice anything into the ringbus.

After all the headaches from trying to figure out the dsp wiring it works great. I will upload pictures when i break it apart again to clean up the wiring. (I had to finish it up in a hurry because of a phone call I recieved while installing the kit and when the navy says to come to work, you go to work)
