Dice dsp adaptor wiring.

Hi everyone,

Im planning on spending tomorrow morning in the boot of my car, fitting a Dice dsp adaptor, and ipod connection kit. One thing I did notice is that it would rather like a switched live connection, I had originally hoped it might get power from the main module. Looking at the diagram on this site, it looks like the 3 pin power lead for the changer only has a permanent live, and an i-bus connection, which I assume is data.

Is anyone able to suggest where I might find a switched live in the boot area, i havent managed to get my hands on a Z4 wiring diagram yet.

Thanks

I tried to help someone a while back find switched power for a new amp and was unsuccessful. It seems surprising there's nothing there. I could have missed something, but I did check every device back there I knew about, such as lighting, audio, telematics, etc. There may be a sensor or something I missed. WDS is on http://spaghetticoder.org/. Good luck mate!

It's good to know I didn't miss anything too obvious. I decided to give up in the end, and just use a permanent live. The main dice module seems to, and I doubt the dsp adaptor drains too much power. If I'm left sat in a car park with a flat battery I'll know what did it. :-)

Thanks for the wireing diagram link, I'll take a look.
