BMW M4 - Test Drive Report

I get the impression he might be associated with a dealership looking at his post above?
 
Got a invite to drive the new M4 convertible next Thursday evening was in two minds about going
to I realised they've got a hog roast on aswell :oops:
 
At dealer now. Either 235 or Boxster ....tough call. Credit card ready......Porsche drove amazingly well...even the 2.7. Wow. Rear diff, PCM, leather, Bose and 20 inch alloys too...

Tough one. Want to buy a car today
 
Set yourself some task, trying to compare such different cars. Don't be swayed by me what so ever because I'd hate to be guilty if you made the wrong choice - but Porsche for me all day long.

That said, the m235 seems to get brilliants reviews in general.
 
Knowing your driving style, the 2.7 Boxster will disappoint you enormously. I had to test drive that for the gearbox and even though everything was fine, it was sooooooo much slower than my M.
 
Which engine / gearbox?

And enjoy your Porsche track day as well - I am doing mine in August 8)
