Think I pass you all on top the mendips, turn around and went to the bottom car park but no sign
Of anyone :( oh well maybe next time :)

We did spot you (both times)! We waited in the second to last car park for a while and you went by again, must have just missed one another!

Really nice drive though, good afternoon with good cars and good company. Thanks all!

Until next time.

Very enjoyable little drive out in the lovely sunshine - great to meet you folks - looking forward to a big turn out at Alan's 15 April meet

That's a Tuesday? Plus a Lunar Eclips apparently. :o 8)

So you did go to Cheddar in the end. Bit far for me to head up on the off chance. Will get up to meet you guys one day.

Well you made it in the end vanilla! Hope your shopping trip was a success lol

Thanks Dan, I just got back and it was good but I didn't get what I actually went to get.. Oops!

Nice to meet everyone though!
Haha usually I end up getting what I went for and more! We're you on the m4 last night think I drove past you?

Nope, wasn't me.

I got something which I need to take back there now... (shouldn't go shopping on my own!)
Should've gone today or might go tomorrow.

Btw you guys need to recommend me nice places in the city to check out (and park).

Gutted I missed this one... I was at an event in Chipping Warden miles away! Do we have a contingent going to the BMWCC event on the 13th April?

As for Bristol Vanilla... If its a sunny day look up the circular road on Durdham Down, (The Downs to us locals). Nice cruising drive along the top of the avon gorge. Stop off by the ice-cream van and take a look at the Clifton suspension bridge with a 99flake in hand. Walk round and see the "Goats in the Gulley" as well as rock climbers/abseilers when its sunny. Free to park everywhere up there. Short drive then to Clifton village where you can grab a coffee, pint or food. May I recommend the Coronation Tap. Cider pub that sell 16% cider by the half pint ;)

White ladies road has plenty of pubs, bars, places to eat. Plenty of nearby parking to. That leads down to Clifton triangle. May I recommend Grillstock there if you like smokehouse food. They smoke all their own meat and BBQ it all there too. Plenty of pulled pork, brisket, burgers and even an eating challenge! They hold their own BBQ festival on the harbourside every year of the same name.

Tonnes to do and see... way to much for a post ;)
