Have always been amazed at some of the low premiums are paying for their Insurance.
Just had my renewal through from AXA who have dropped my premium from £850 ish a year down to £720.
I'm 55yo this year and have a high risk postcode.
Tried Gocompare and managed to get a £460 quote. :)
Even tried Saga who came in at around £500.
Someone suggested trying Direct Line and was amazed to get this quote.

Exactly like for like except an even lower voluntary excess. :D
Worth shopping around..........saved over £500 for the years premium.

It pays to shop around, I'm 54 and it costs me £298 a year, so you got a good quote there
I'm 54 as well Swiftly...55 in June. Quote was £288 before I added NCD protection.

Bet you wish you'd tried them last year :poke:

I do indeed. :D
Just goes to show that gocompare and the like don't always throw up the cheapest quotes.

Just recently renewed with More Than via compare the market for £179 fully comp, protected NCB, courtesy car, wife as additional driver and business use. Was £379 with swift cover last year. 49yr old, 9 yrs NCD.

Oh and a free meerkat toy

I'm 26, as above Privilege were one of the cheapest and you can also get £40 cashback via quidco, but Admiral matched it in the end + multi car discount for my bothers. £360 with business use, very happy with that :)

Pays to shop around, my van policy was up last month, got renewal through which I thought was steep, used the comparison sites and got same policy, with same insurer for a shade under £200 less than the renewal quote, goes to show you should NEVER accept the renewal without shopping around!!

I'm 25 I pay £640 with direct line it's my weekend car,
The s2000 was £1200 a year!
Previously had a z3 which was around the £500
The van is also with direct line

I'm with Aviva at present expiring in May. Aviva renewal is £355 for our Z4MR with £850 excess and protected bonus - and I thought it was cheap last year at £320.

But I thought I'd look around, Direct Line came up around £240 but Saga  has come up at £205 with protected bonus and only a £250 excess, plus they'll knock another £30 off if I ask for a buildings insurance quote.

I have to say I'm shocked - and about to renew...

Shame they have quoted more for my 118d !! I don't really understand that.
