Online configurator

Sad i know, i admit that...but you know the online configurator on bmw website
Has anyone found a website or anything where u can configurate previous gen cars..
So for example if someone i knew, say for example wanted to...i dont know, build their silver grey z4///m and spec it up with say, champagne nappa and play around with the options i or he has on his car, is it possible? Or is the server (or other I.T type word) out of date now etc?

Read this on another forum, might work but not tried it.....
I take no responsibility etc, etc!


1. Switch the clock of your computer to the year 2002
2. Go to http://www.bmw.de and select the BMW Car Configurator (Maybe it is possible, that you are also now on the old BMW Site of Germany)
3. If you start the Car Configuartor you see the old model range with the Z8, E46 Compact, E46 Sedan etc.

So if you want to configure a old BMW... here you go!
