... after enjoying the forum meets so much, we decided that the only sensible way for all four of us to tour europe was to buy a second Z4, and with little else in terms of pre-planning we packed one with camping gear and the other with clothes / food / tech etc. and headed for Dover.
All photos straight off the iphone :camera:

1st stop was Reims (Cue obligatory pitstop shot - this part of the old circuit is still used as a main road)

Then off down the route des vins through Alsace..

... and onto Switzerland, across the Pte St Bernard pass (2.1 km above sea level at one point according to the signs)

..into Italy..

We did some non car related stuff too - but I'll save them for facebook :)

Excellent !! :D :D if you get time would you put more info up, re miles per day, routes etc? we did a 4 day trip in France last weekend - thoroughly enjoyable :D and will do another soon. (will put a few pics up on another thread)

Mr & Mrs Coupe with children, just LOL, at least they are different colours :)

Hope you have had a great trip

Main deciding point seemed to be the Satnav!! I swapped to the auto for the alpine roads, but love mine now I've got used to a manual again.

Great pics looks like fun was had by all
Pics 1,6 and 7 worthy of putting in the photo comp

I really need to do a roadtrip but it is just finding the time :headbang:

Thanks  but I thought Pic 2 was the best!

I like pic 2 - it reminds me of when I were a lad.

Not that I went grape picking in Alsace - we went to the "berries" (raspberries) at Kirriemuir.
