Price- £776.00 2.5SE 05 plate.

Very happy with that indeed.

Bmw insurance quoted me £1056,
Phoned my insurance, they told me they dont cover cars over £20000, so they cancelled my insurance, and gave me another quote of £1169.

I then went on confused, cheapest on there was £479 with admiral, that was me telling them 18 inch wheels, red leather and f & r park sensors.
I cant believe they put £9 on for the park sensors.

£9 for parking sensors?!

Surely that would bring the price down I would of thought.

Always when my renewal comes up, I go through as many quotes as possible. That means using the compare websites and I phone a few. Got a pretty good deal with budget insurance last year. Just hope it goes down again this year.

go compare was giving me stupid quotes 4k+

confused.com gave me quotes of £1800. Granted I didn't add my named drivers which brought it down a bit on confused, but it was never more that £2500 (without named drivers) on confused with admiral (who wanted £4100 on gocompare)

im with elephant, there was about £50 difference when i took my policy out earlier this month

Some of the quotes are ridiculous, but I just recommend to keep looking up quotes on the insurance websites because I found that the quotes I was getting varied quite a lot. Then I would get a good quote which I snapped up. Now with ibuyeco and can't say I'm not happy, but I think insurance has gone up since.

£400 from Saga - Two years NCB - Garaged.

Being a codger has some benefits, not many, only some!

I'm 52 and they wouldn't quote me. :(

I'm 52 in June and Saga quoted me at end of March £940

I told them they were having a laugh and they couldnt understand why. They said they are for the more mature experienced drivers and quote likewise, I then told them again they were certainly having a laugh

Average insurance premium is up 30% this year. :( My cheapest quote so far is £688, compared to £527 last year.

Last year I was with Aviva and renewal this year with them was £100 up on last year.

I have finally gone with Admiral on a multi car policy with wife and son and got it for £360. Same price as Aviva last year (give or take a few quid)

just a warning, make sure you cancel your insurance if you are moving to a new company

a friend of mine (yes i have 1) took out insurance with kwikfit last year, paid a 1 off payment, this year they auotmatically debited the annual without asking

its now a task of trying to get them to pay it back

I had a similar experience with my first insurer. I was on a monthly scheme so they had taken the first month of the new year without asking. In fairness, they refunded me no problem. Definitely check the small print.

My insurance is not up until August but I am dreading the price. I put a claim in this year to have the bumper resprayed too :(

Swift cover do the same.. auto renewal unless you tell them not too.... which is fine for car insurance as you get a reminder... however they also did the same with my travel insurance last Monday.. and sent no reminder/ renewal notice/ email first :o

Called them and they cancelled it.. but still a hassle.

My best quote so far for a coupe (which i don't even own lol) is £934 from Admiral.

i'm 25, 5 years no claims, clean license, northern ireland address.

Didn't think that was too bad considering my Bora insurance this year was £500

£441(up on original renewal of £372 as they"forgot my SP30) 38 yrs old wife 37 both driving from 18 no claims only one Sp30 in march.
Axa are cheaper but not equal policy.
Mines seems to be cheap (2.3is E89) bought new last January

3.0si coupe
29yrs Old + additional driver (mother in law)
5yrs NCB
1 Fault Claim 2 years ago
Below average NE postcode
£500+£100 Excess
£800 fully comp, protected NCB, legal insurance, hire car
