Z4C - Getting very rare - The price gap is closing to the Z4MC?

To me in an E86 heated seats have no benefit as use it as a summer car. My Volvo has them and probably use them a couple of times a year in really cold times. To me its not a deal breaker, as would rather get a straight and good car than 'just because heated seats and cruise control'. Mine has cruise control. No idea what the fuss about that is, as never use it.
Why people make such a song and dance about these items in their cars and how ' oh its better specced' yadda yadda. The more trinkets on these things as they get older, the more to go wrong. Was reading about a guy with an AMG having to strip down his seat to replace the heater sheet and the small fire that had melted the foam as it blew. Rather not have that situation near my butt.

I'm in the same mind, car not used in winter so don't have a cold bum, I don't have drinks in the car so cup holders of no use, BMW sat navs are crap compared to Google Maps and I rarely use cruise even on my daily driver let alone a car I drive for recreation.

Couldn't agree more, they are great value, and in my opinion M's even more so but it really depends on usage and what you want out of it.
Buying on perceived future values or as an investment though in the current climate, you'd have to be mad. The lack of depreciation as you say is a bonus but yeah, these should be brought driven and enjoyed unless you have a exceptionally low mileage showroom condition example.

The Bitcoin comment was purely tongue in cheek and just to highlight there are far better investments if that's your game. Does amuse me the amount of people clamouring to get a slice of Bitcoin though who have no idea what it is or the risks, which probably accounts for a lot of people buying in right now. Elon's a clever chap.

That said, if we’re talking crypto specifically, I think a lot of people also underestimate how important secure storage and proper self-custody is. It’s not just about buying in, but actually controlling your assets safely long-term. Tools like Atomic Wallet are often mentioned in that context, since they focus on giving users control over their keys rather than relying fully on exchanges.
It's strange to even consider trying to buy such things "as an investment" these days—the market is too unpredictable to rely on it seriously. Yes, there are some models that hold their price better than others, but that's more of a pleasant side effect than a strategy.

And the point about Bitcoin is also well-aimed. It's often clear that people are jumping on the hype bandwagon without fully understanding the technology, the risks, or the cyclical nature of the market. As a result, expectations diverge wildly from reality.

Can't argue with that but you do have the advantage of over 5 years of additional insight from the other posts 😉
