You’re not the only wheel hoarder - I have 17 wheels and tyres stacked in my garage, 12 of which are for my Zed (that’s in addition to the 8 attached to cars and a couple of unmounted tyres).Put it back on the road after winter. During winter I have replaced the wheels (again), now have 4x different sets to choose from…
Im from Penrith originally. I was staying at my parents. Small world!Reminds me, my mate sent me three photos of your car in March last year, parked on a road in a Penrith! He was saying how good it looked in imola, then I spotted the plate!
Did you do the rear droplinks with the sway bar on the car? I need to do this job but it seems like a pig to get them pressed on without removing the sway bar!New rear sway bar, pro-flex purple bushes and genuine new drop links. Not really necessary but it looks shiny.
No, all new parts, assembled before fitting. Even using loads of Silicone grease on a new smooth arm pushing down vertically it was a fair amount of effort, I wouldn't fancy it up on the car with no leverage. That car is a real credit to you, probably one of the most mechanically sorted around. For ease of sale though, personally I would get rid of the gauge pods and put the vent back in.Reduced the price a little and started editing the add, to post it up on Autotrader.
I have a vent so it can be done, but I like the data it shows and gives notice of anything going wrong. For ease of sale though, personally I would get rid of the gauge pods and put the vent back in.
Good luck with it.
How did you do this? What products did you use please.Fixed the rubber paint on the steering wheel and window switches. Looked old and tired, also a bit sticky. Quite an easy but satisfying process. Looks like new again!
Second this, they have come up wellHow did you do this? What products did you use please.
The trim can be pulled of with the wheel on the car. Just undo the torx screws on rear of steering wheel. It does require some careful wiggling. How did you do this? What products did you use please.
