Still looking for the elusive and lesser spotted 30i (SE or Msport), lol, £11k ish budget. Not really interested in 35i/is or, a bit of a british thing, I know - not lots of miles.

Might even have to look at 23i the way its going

If anybody knows of anything, a nod would be appreciated

Where do people go to look for these cars?

I use the usual AT, Cargurus, Pistonheads, Exchange and Mart etc.

I think you have it covered TBH (and on here of course). There is the 'bay but I would always look on AT first, as the 'bay tend to have the 'lower' end stuff (and duplicates of AT) IMO.

My preference for cars are (in that order); specialist forums, then AT, Pistonheads seems to be ALL traders nowadays, then the 'Bay as a last resort. I didn't know E&M were still going TBH.

May be that you are being overly fussy? If so wait a couple of months, they will start to appear as Spring approaches (but of course the prices will rise accordingly with the 'Summer tax').

You will get a decent 4 pot for that money and there are more around, but if 6 pot N/A is a must then wait it out.

I think you're probably right about being fussy, to be fair.

I'll have to get my back side in a 2.0 to see how they drive, I guess. Its the noise of the 6, you see....

At least I don't appear to be missing any obvious opportunities when searching.

Yeah, it does a bit. Especially in the current financial climate.
