Ford Puma

It looks just like a roof chopped (lowered roofline) Fiesta to me. The original Puma was completely different looking to the Fiesta and this just seems hardly any different. I have trouble differentiating between the new Ka and the new Fiesta, here's a third one to add. Shame, they could have done so much more..... :(

Wide bodied Puma RS anyone?

The design studies (first 2 pics) look quite nice... as long as they keep that flat roofline... but the next two real-life pictures... brrrr... open the fourth one and take a look at the driver to see which age group this car's targeted at...

The orginal was quite a pretty looking car when it came out, especially when compared to the other new-edge designs (like that horrendous Ka).

the real life pictures are the fiesta and the old puma...

see what you mean about the driver in the 4th picture though  I think that shot was from a recent group test they ran though...

dont like it at all......... the major manufacturers are making all their cars look the same as each other. Its a Boo from me

not keen- i liked the old one- and when my other half saw the pics she thought the old one was the new one and betetr looking!

I'd not read too much into the pics - Auto Express are horrendous at making lots of noise about their own "image projections" of how they think a car might look. All that looks like is a new Fiesta with a squashed roof. Not bad looking though, plus the new Fiesta's a pretty good handling car to begin with so bodes well for a Puma.

we have got an old shape puma 1.7 just building to road rally spec handeling is spot on would take some staying with on a twisty back road if the new car goes as well it will be fun to drive

I like it. Bet it won't be sold here, though.

If Ford would sell some of those hot little cars here, they'd take back some of that segment from the Japanese cars the kids all drive.

More squashed cars, it looks like a squashed focus in the same way the sirocco looks like a squashed golf.
 Thumbs down for originality from me and I generally quite like new fords.

I agree with most here. I cant work out why manufactures are making the cars in their ranges all look like mutations of one another. Im sure its cheaper and easier and makes them more identified as a brand but its still BORING!

They got it right with the Sport Ka imho, but NOT that.

Why can't they make something NEW looking, without flawing it's looks so severely because of the base platform!?

That rear view is just wrong. The Puma should be light and svelte looking, not lardy.

MPV looks have taken over at Ford, everything new they make now is just pants.

I quite like it, I always wanted a Racing Puma but never got round to it.

I had one :) Loved it, sounded amazing with a full janspeed exahaust on it, standard cars shouldn't pop and rasp that much! Got ten times more attention than the Z4 lol.
