It is up to seller and buyer to decide what a car is worth......

No, it's a forum for the benefit of members and to share information.
It's not a paid add on Autotrsder, EBay,, etc.

So how does slating the price 'benefit' members?

I must say, that is a great looking roadster! The price will be whatever is eventually paid and you've got to have an aspiration, haven't you? Pretty good spec and sensible miles to my eye. Service history would be useful, though.

Well it certainly looks like it:
Registration xx56 ZFO in same colour and same wheels.
Last owner indicated a write-off

I'd like to see confirmation of the full registration and/or evidence it is actually the same car.

Hadn't seen the full registration, but excellent detective work to put the 2 together.

I'm sure OP won't be along to explain his wife's excellent collector car and how the history got forgotten.

I do hope this thread now puts to bed the nay sayers that comments should not be posted on for sale threads and it left up to buyers to assess things.

Hence why it's no bad thing for forum members to make comments on a car that may relate to price or the car itself :?
What one person may see straight away another may not & i have no issues with anyone voicing opinion on something that may help other forum members
