Sorry all, now SOLD

Details are as follows...

(Price reduced to £11,895 on 17/08)

3.0si in titanium silver with black leather interior
Manual 56 plate with just 36k miles on the clock
Just had inspection II service at BMW this week, including a new battery, air con service and brake fluid change. £800+ bill!
Has a full BMW history, all keys and an MOT until 19 August 2016.

Rare 17" 200 alloys (see http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/bmw_alloy_wheels/z4_e85_alloys/17_bmw_200_wheel_1428)
PDC Park Distance Control
Bluetooth Telephone Preparation
Multi-Function For Steering Wheel
Storage package (including cup holders!)
Climate control and all the usual Coupe specs - electric memory seats, automatic lights, rain sensors, dimming mirror, headlight washers and whatnot.

I've had it almost 8 years - since Sep '07 and am the second owner. It's a very genuine car, pretty much immaculate.

It goes without saying that I'll be sorry to see it go, but with four of us it's going to be a bit useless. I'd rather someone on here had it, but I'll be putting it on Pistonheads or Autotrader in the next week or two as well.

Looking for a quick deal on offers of around £12,495. If you're interested, drop me a PM. We're Sussex based, but if you want a nice Coupe you'll drive for miles to see it :)

Thanks,

Martin

good luck with sale

your asking for offers near 12-13k, not sure anybody will offer near 13k when it would suggest you are prepared to consider offers at 12k :?

yeah, as above, congratulations and commiserations all in one go!
you can buy another in about twenty years' time...

Hi all.

My wife is pregnant (with twins!) so, following the happiest day of my life, I'm now tinged with a bit of sorrow in looking to sell my Z4C.

I bought my firt Z4 when my twins were 2. Keep it and buy an old nail to run round it. You won't regret it.

Fwiw Martin i would review your price before placing the advert ,
A big plus is your length of ownership & no doubt the car is in excellent order but even on 36k asking £12495 fixed is unlikely to see much interest :?
A bitter pill maybe but there are similar cars / similar miles offered with warranty from dealers for much less & with better spec

Appreciate the feedback, but the coupe is a rare car and there are only ever a handful up for sale at any price. Well looked after, low mileage examples are like hen's teeth - and worth paying extra for. I've had mine since it was 9 months old :)

Right now Autotrader has 8 listed with under 40k miles. One at a silly price (£9700) which would make me question what was wrong with it, an 07 reg at £11490 which looks quite a good deal if you like black, and 6 others at £14k plus.

Buying from a dealer might feel more secure, but the reality is that a dealer warranty is normally only a safety net for any big problems that happen within 6 months. I've always had a BMW extended warranty on mine and I'd recommend that any buyer does the same. Then buying privately is no big deal.

Like anyone who sells a motor, I'm happy to be a bit flexible and consider reasonable offers. But I'm not in any massive hurry to sell, and am happy to enjoy driving it while I wait for the right deal.

When you think that the WeBuyAnyCar thieves' price is pretty much £10k, I don't think £12k+ is too unreasonable.

Hi Martin, I'm currently looking for a z4c, originally I didn't want silver but it is certainly growing on me.
Unfortunately I couldn't offer more than £11,000 for it but good luck with the sale.

Now on Pistonheads and Autotrader.

Just a quick note that I have booked the Z in for an MOT on Thursday this week, so it will be sold with a full year's worth.

Sold to first person who saw the car, as expected :)

Enjoy your Z4C's people, I'm off for something altogether more boring!
