Z4M STRUT BRACE FROM E46 M3

Have fitted e46 m3 strut brace to my Z4MC, I bought it damaged [strut fixing lug broken off mounting] had lug welded back on and to make fit just had to straighten strut bar a little. As it came from a damaged car not sure if a new one will fit straight on without a little modifying to strut bar, this has got to be a cheap and easy way of getting genuine BMW brace for Z4M.Looks like it is touching fuel rail but just clears!sept2014027_zps5ad06bdb.jpgsept2014026_zpsc604829d.jpgsept2014025_zpsf3ce45a5.jpgsept2014024_zps4dbd586e.jpg

I think your bar is a little out of shape still, mines from a M3 CSL and is fine.

Both have the benefit of the strut covers though 8)

Op your bar needs to be removed, way to tight clearance on the fuel rail, the engine moves more than enough for that to contact the bar. Make some adjustments.

Sorry for potentially thick question, but my car already has a strut brace, aren't they standard on an M?

the diagonal bars were stock, the cross piece was an optional extra.
