it's identical bud. The tape bit goes on top...under valence....the rest sits down/out. The small lip goes on bottom and faces in.. it's identical. Tape goes under valance. Then screws go in that. The small lip is "under" see pics of profile

Underneath behind splitter into valance on part that has tape. Hope this helps best I could do. D

Installed the Buckley 06 gear knob, and massive difference. I'm now thinking of getting a short shifter to get rid of the typical BMW long throw. It's always been a pet hate of mine on all my Beemers. Seen some cheapies on fleabay. Are they any good? And does it fill the gap on changing gear? D

For those who have not seen link I'm thinking of a hand grenade gear knob. D
