Hi, Just been reading your comments. A while ago now I know. I also live in Worcester and have booked into Torque to get the hood motor fixed. Since then, I have found BMW tech who can do a great job quickly at a very good price, but an hour and a half drive away. Any advice welcome. Cheers Roch

Managed to get this fixed at my local garage. There doesn't appear to be a cable. The mechanic said that the metal links had become bent, so we're not achieving enough reach. These were straightened and now it all works..... A bit bizarre.
