On a very quiet B6270 in North Yorkshire

I am wondering if any one can explain why the 2023 LCI M40i model CO₂ emissions is rated at 184 g/km where as my previous 2019 M40i CO₂ emissions was only 168 g/km. I am wondering if BMW have reduced some of the stuffing out of the exhaust system, since I have noticed that the exhaust sounds...
