After PM'ing Robbi - So far I have got the roof into a position where I can get to the wiring a bit easier. :thumbsup: I have tested the wiring but found no breaks in it. From the photo you can see I have cut the wiring going to the microswitch connector/plug. I connected my DVM here and teed...

No. I wish it was because then I would have more chance of fixing it myself. It is like this now but the roof is not latched. You can see the gap in the photo. Is there a video to show how to manually get the roof to a position that I can easily get to the microswitch / wiring?

I have the dreaded roof issue. My car has sat in my garage for, I dunno, a year or so. About time I got it fixed. I have made some tentative enquiries but no one in Norfolk fills me with confidence. Maybe I should have taken it to BMW near me but I had a bad experience there with a previous car...

Assuming my plans work out this year I might have a bit of a splurge. I'll be keeping the 35is but I might buy something in addition to keep my interest up. So, as it says G29 or Jag F type? I prefer the looks of the F which easily sways me. Opinions? Both 35is and new car will be weekend...
