So the glass in my drivers wing mirror finally decided to part company from my Zed despite constant attempts to keep it stuck to the backing plate. Been looking at getting a cheap replacement on Ebay - anyone know if the backing plate (that the glass is stuck to) also comes with the glass...

So I removed my centre aluminium trim and now having refitted it the ashtray/switchbar unit seem to fall through the large hole! I think a part may have strayed for the ashtray/switch bar to screw down onto at its base. Any photos showing whats beneath the ashtray/switch bar would be very useful

So currently my Zed has had all the aluminium dash removed and the 3 parts have been sent off to be hydro-dipped to achieve a carbon fibre look. In the meantime I am looking to upgrade and replace the standard BMW stereo and fit in its place instead a single din unit that has satnav, bluetooth...

Does anyone have any photos or images of the eccentric ring located between the steering column and steering column electric motor? I would like to have a go at adjusting mine and some imagery would certainly help.
