Have you had a passenger hear the noise? If not, then certainly get someone to listen for confirmation of the area it's originating from: sometimes it's not coming from where the driver thinks it is. Does the noise change if you apply tension to the seat belt?

that's a 6-speed. As for daily driving a zed, I would say the main factors to consider are whether your car is decently reliable and simply whether you enjoy driving it. If so, then it'll work fine :driving:

I've replaced halogen units on a 2005 pre-facelift car (orange indicator lenses), with post-facelift units (clear indicator lenses). Plug and play and straightforward. I presume the very early models were no different.

I have 20mm on my rear axle, nothing on the front. The rears fill the arches nicely with no problems at all. As far as I know, the E86 and E85 are the same in this respect. Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken.

Are you sure the window is sealing correctly when the door is closed? If not, perhaps the top needs slight adjustment in positioning. Is the gap between the bottom edge of the hard top and the rear quarter panel the same and consistent on both sides of the car? Also, is the front edge of the...
