Post your Zed picture of the day...

Thanks for all the likes and comments on my last post I recently joined a filming day as an extra for a local project at a race circuit in Thailand, and the brief was they wanted a bunch of cars for a mock car meet. I managed to get some cool sunset pics as well as a couple of laps on track -...

    e36 M3

Not my car, but randomly found these a while back It’s possible - might need some slight modification to the rails and wiring When I saw these pics before I wished I’d kept my Vaders from my old 36

    Hardtop roof liner sagging

Actually it’s not the glue that fails on headliners… it’s the foam disintegrates and causes separation I’ve had the headliner from my hardtop removed since before the pandemic and still not gotten around to getting it re-covered. It’s an easy disassemble, and shouldn’t be too tough to find...

    Multi player cd

As long as you have the cd changers prep wires as part of your loom it’s a direct fit A bunch of interior pieces need to come out, but it’s doable and a great retrofit for anyone who does music the old-school way

    Cleaning up second-hand parts

Thank you for the responses I was probably overthinking it a bit but I didn’t want to take paint off the replacement part… ‘er indoors would’ve never let me live it down if I’d ruined it Turned out some anti-Covid alcohol spray on a microfiber towel worked out, and she’s (almost) happy...

    Cleaning up second-hand parts

This is my first post in this part of the forum as I’m looking for a bit of guidance… You know when people buy second hand parts from breaker yards and they write on the part with those funny little market pens…? Does anyone have any quick and easy tip for removing the writing from painted...

    Clutch & Flywheel Compatibility

Nicely done! I’ve still not done mine, but in fairness I’ve barely driven the car so far since landing back in Thailand, I know my gearbox is a 10 spline shaft, and I recently did a rear main seal fix…. and I already have the CDV delete, so I don’t see my installation being complex or taking...

    Clutch & Flywheel Compatibility

Same here - I went ahead and ordered the kit, and it arrived quickly. Looks like a well-made bit of kit Just carried mine back to Thailand in a suitcase - raised a few eyebrows as it went through the scanners, but all was good in the end Not sure when I’ll get around to fitting it as it’s...

    Clutch & Flywheel Compatibility

Nice one! I’m actually on holiday in UK at the moment and I’m planning on doing my shopping next week before I take all the bits back home (Bangkok, Thailand) I hope it works out (I’m sure it will)

    Carly Coder - BEWARE

I’ve had Carly for years, and admittedly don’t use it much anymore but I’ve had a lot of success on multiple cars when coding the roof to open and close from the key The only car that the coding didn’t work on has recently been diagnosed as having a fault in its roof module, so it’s not...
