fitted new crank sensor (once I actually found it) it is totally covered by the inlet manifold. I ran diagnostic 14 errors, engine module, steering, body module etc. i took note of all codes and cleared them. reran diagnostic just 2 codes inlet air temperature and a code regarding window...

Hi All Thanks for the replies. Not hooked up to diagnostic yet I will check the battery and earth connections. With regard to the crank sensor I will replace as a precautionary measure. However where is it located? Thanks again.
