I used the Lemförder 1305001 on my coupe without any issues, they just slide in.
No need to remove the exhaust, plenty of space to replace them with the exhaust in place.
I have used sensors made by TRW in my old Mini and they worked without any issues. Would not go for the cheapest ones out there as in many cases it’s a hit and miss.
Ride is nice. I’d describe it as you did, firm but not too firm. We have many speed bumps around here and the roads are not in the best shape. But the suspension works just fine, even with the low profile non runflats.
It has the Bilstein B12 kit installed (B8 dampers and Eibach springs). Bought it with the kit already installed so cannot say how it compares to the original suspension.
I replaced the whole hose and it came with a new (plastic) flange. It was still in good ahape for being 18 years old so came to the conclusion that a new one will most probably hold up the rest of the days of the coupe.

@fredej I installed it directly onto the battery. As discussed in this topic CLICK, in the e85/86 you can install it in both places. For me the trunk is more convenient.
Replaced the crush washer on the diff that was leaking slightly and installed a Ctek connector for the battery. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to use it where I store the coupe during winter.
Replaced the engine mounts on the coupe. The old ones were still in decent condition (for almost 20 years old), they were more of a preventative maintenance thing.
After reading on how to remove the front bumper and that lifting the car is not required, I decided to take it off to replace the foglights and the lower grill. Both fogs have seen better days and looked horrible (see below). Managed to get a new set for a decent price (1 came from the US and...
@Shaun T I was also a bit concerned when I replaced the gasket because of the valvetronic motor. I used the allen key method and it worked without any issues.
