    Hard Top

    The rattle may be the soft top not locking properly in the down position. This was sometimes a problem with the early cars like yours. When you lower the soft top press down in the centre to make sure it is located securely. I remember there was a mod posted on Z4um re: this.

    Hard Top - Rear screen heater

    When you fit the hardtop it picks up the connections automatically through the locking mechanism and disconnects the element in the soft top window.

    You don't need to look for anything as ALL UK cars were prepped for hardtop as standard.
