So the bulb warning light came on yesterday and it appears the left indicators bulbs are the issue. The bulbs are lit all the time - they still flash as normal when I indicate left but stay on when I turn the indicator off. Clearly a fault somewhere. I don’t know whether the solution is to...

Blacktop - still waiting for recovery!

After responding that my last one and my current Z4 didn’t suffer this, I am currently sat waiting for recovery after the water pump failed this morning... fortunately I was a mile from the motorway exit when the temp gauge flipped to the red... I’m at 70800 miles.... arse.

My first Z4 (2008) had the thermostat go faulty but the water pump was fine. I always wonder when reading about this problem whether people jump to the conclusion the pump has gone when it’s just the thermostat....

Looks like you’re doing a great job bringing this back - cant believe someone sold it like that!! My self respect struggles to deal with that!! Interested to see how the door armrest gets sorted - how are you thinking about solving that?

I bought my Z4C through Mark at EVO. Was very good IMO - as I was a long way from him, he answered all my questions and sent lots of detailed photos. Did the deal on the phone and picked the car up and it was exactly as described. He knows Z4’s well and what to look out for.

I knew it would be! FWIW if that’s more or less what the bumper owes you and if you still plan at some point to do the quad conversion then I’d keep the bumper. If you sell it now for what people are mentioning and then have to buy another and get it sprayed the numbers get big.. As stratus...

So glad I bought an M140i and didn’t wait for the new one. It looks awful and generic and that grill... and they’ve said already that the M135 is slower than the car it’s replacing... 90% of buyers won’t care though.
