It is my project car/ toy and I do have a 5 Series Touring as my daily and I've got used the lowered look and quite like it.
I'm not really planning on selling it anytime soon. So I could happily spend £700 on the set up when I can afford it. But the end of the day it is only worth 2-2.5k, so...
So my Zed failed the MOT big time today with the MaxPedorods coilovers falling apart and I need to replace the whole lot including drop links. These were on the car when I bought 2 years ago.
So I'm debating whether to buy a better set of coilovers, if so which ones? My budget will be about...
I changed mine from the 17 to 18 last summer and that made a nice difference too. Hardly any roll when cornering and only get a little trashy when going down single car width UK roads/ country lanes.
There is a trick you can do with resistors in the plugs to said pyro packs that fools the ecu into thinking it’s all ok.
You have to reset the packs by pushing the springs back down and clipping them back in.
Obvs the pyro packs won’t fire again as there is no charge in it. But you won’t get...

Alonso's wife looks expensive to keep happy!
But let's face it wouldn't you just drive a F1 all day for several million a year, even it was the slowest? Not to mention the fame that comes with it, how many WEC drivers get paid the same or have the same media presence for 30 years+?
For 2k minium toured be wanting full dyne proof for each spec and 2k for 25-40hp! You could probably get that from a custom pipe and map for half the price!
But if it had stayed like that everyone would be dead.
F1 is about technological advancement. At the minute the electrical thing isn’t where it should be. I think it’s more about the fuel advancement and engine tech. As Max said leave the electric side to Formula E as that their thing.
The first few laps were good and I thought they may have found something here, but the tyres are the weak point again and are the main limit of the racing.
By half distance it's kinda gone back to how it was. Max did well from last.
Good to see at least one of the Cadillac's finish also the...
