Can you turn them off via the computer? The manual suggests you can't, is the only option to use the switch to the control stalk to the right of your steering wheel?

I don't have the auto light option on mine, the manual suggests that as long as the lights are in the on position the welcome lights should work. Hmm strange.

Can you put the roof down from the key? From looking on the net it seems some versions of the z4 you can and some you can't... Sorry for the newbie questions, obviously new to this z4 stuff :)

Sorry, i don't have iDrive i don't think. Just the standard computer. It just doesn't work anymore even if the cars been sat over night.
