Hi, Having issues with my 2006 2.5si where it’s running/idling rough. Researching things and with a code reader I’m putting down to the Vanos solenoids needing replaced. Have priced these with local BMW dealer, looking @ £110 each, so £220 for the pair. I see there are after-market ones online...

thats what I was thinking... I got the parts from eurocar parts and even phoned them to check they were the right ones. Just as you've said that, I have just checked, and it looks as tho they have given me the wrong ones! Thanks for your quick response!

Wondering if anyone can advise, I just changed my suspension on my 2006 2.5si, about to hit 80k miles - I had 2 leaking shock absorbers, unfortunatly 1 at the front and 1 at the rear. On advice, and general knowledge its always been a better option to change in pairs, therefore I changed all 4...
