Absolute bobbins - how on earth could it? The tone of the sound is a function of the volume and resonant frequency of the chamber - the volume of the sound is purely a function of the aperture. Granted the sound may be different but it will not be louder than an oe airbox with an eventuri...

I honestly don't get what the fuss is on this. I literally do not see how a carbon version of the same airbox with an eventuri slapped on the end is going to deliver any more sound than an oe airbox with the eventuri slapped on it - the filter element from where the sound comes is the same in...

I was under the impression the rear strut towers on the E86 chassis weren't such an issue in terms of deformation compared to E36/46 chassis. Mine's been running true rear coilovers most of its life, and it's survived multiple ring trips, spa trips, Zaandvoort, UK trackdays etc and still going...

Yep I was looking recently at the 5575 kit for comparison as they're both fully listed on the ap website. They are different part numbers I suspect the original m3 kit was originally dimensioned/ made for a non-csl, as it was he z4m shares caliper and disc part numbers with the csl.

Literally this was what I thought I'd have to be doing with my kit. I was fairly sure from Tom_K that the disc wouldn't foul the knuckle as he has an older kit fitted, but I was concerned that I might have to shim/space the bell out to centralise the disc. Thankfully its an issue that doesn't...

Well as far as I can see from my kit now it's fitted is the disc sits bang in the middle of the caliper, so I can only assume it was an early iteration of the kit where the bells or caliper brackets had a very slightly different offset?

Where did you get your dyno'd? Interestingly when Martyn was mapping mine back when I had the eventuri & sports cats, he said he was seeing knock and it was pulling timing. He's said it's been much happier on the airbox, but I had always meant to do the knock sensors but never got round to it...!
