    Lacquer Repair

I have a small patch on the plastic front bumper where the lacquer seems to have lifted and created a bubble. I've seen a couple of DIY video repairs on You Tube, but the results seem too good to be true. Anyone attempted a similar repair, or have any magical tips?? TIA

    New Battery Recommendations (Again)

I only use my car once a week on average and noticed it's been a bit sluggish to start recently. Just got the multi-meter out and it's showing 11.7v which I think is pretty grim. Can't see a date on the battery, but suppose it could be original! I've changed loads of batteries in the past, but...

    Wheels New Colour - Poll

Silver is just a word that boring people use to make grey sound more interesting! Then again I do have some form for switching wheel colours.

Not totally sold on these, but think they will grow on me. Well made and easy to fit.

E89 ‘Wheels’ thread.... post your pic’s

New MAK (Italy) 18" wheels have transformed my car. I was on the verge of letting it go this year as the ride in the 19" run flats was a bit too harsh for my old body. Can't believe the transformation!

    Service Light

It's actually the visual inspection, no idea if you can reset this yourself!

    Service Light

When the car was serviced last by my local indie he asked if I wanted the check up completing. He caught be off guard and I thought £40 for a visual check up was unnecessary given the detail of care I give the old girl so I declined his offer. Now when I start the car the Service lights up for...

    Genuine 326M 19" Staggered Alloys + Tyres

My new black wheels arrive today, so now is the time to try to find a buyer for my existing genuine BMW 326M 19" wheels. No evidence of any cracks or repairs. Sold with tyres and TPMS valves (all currently working fine). Full set of matching Bridgestone (RF) tyres, rears have only done around...

    Wheel Change & TPMS

New wheels should be arriving soon, complete with new TPMS valves that have already been coded to the vehicle. Is there anything specific I need to do with iDrive when changing the wheels or will it automatically recognise the new wheels in the correct locations? I assume there's a separate...

    Wheel Questions

Pretty sure these are the TPMS valves. Wheel Base have offered to fit 4 new ones for £100, probably the easiest solution. My 326s look in pretty good condition and they have almost new Bridgestones on the rear. Hopefully they will sell pretty quickly so I don't have my wife asking awkward...

    Wheel Questions

In the hope of improving the ride quality, I'm looking at replacing the 19" 326 wheels with aftermarket 18" version with NRF tyres and just have a couple of questions. 1. Anyone used Wheel Base Alloys, or have any other recommended suppliers. 2. The package they are offering comes with fitted...

    Ultra Car Mats

This just showed up as click-bait and I was wondering if anyone has ordered from them: https://ultracarmats.com/ Not too sure if they would improve the Zed or not!

    Mixing Tyre Types

What are the groups thoughts on mixing RF and NRF tyres Front & Rear? When I bought the car last year it failed the MOT on rear tyres so the dealer fitted 2 new RFs. Fronts are now getting marginal, so I was considering fitting NRFs in a vain attempt to improve the ride on the 19" rims. Not...
